    ►Regeneration process

    DRYING

    Layer 1-2: (100-400 ℃) evaporation and drying of water in activated carbon.

    BAKING

    Layer 3: (400-600 ℃) evaporate and carbonize the volatile matter adsorbed in the fine pores of activated carbon.

    ACTIVATION

    Layer 4-6: (800-1000 ℃) blow steam to remove the carbonization in the pores of activated carbon during baking, so as to restore the activity of activated carbon.

    Activating Reaction : C+H2O→CO+H2

     

    ►Advantages of multiple hearth furnace activated carbon regeneration

    Waste heat recovery: 1.5 t saturated steam with 5 kg pressure can be recovered for each ton of carbon regenerated
